1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the AfroCadet mobile application, website, and related API services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and by our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service. The Service is provided by AfroCadet.

2. Service Description and License

The Service provides a specialized tool for verifying phone number validity, determining the associated carrier, and identifying the geographical location. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service solely for your internal business or personal use, subject to these Terms.

  • Data Accuracy: You acknowledge that carrier and geolocation data relies on third-party sources and databases which may not be 100% accurate or up-to-date. AfroCadet makes no guarantee regarding the accuracy of lookup results.

3. User Accounts and Verification

  • Registration: To use the service beyond the free limit, you must register for an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
  • Account Security: You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
  • Compliance: You must ensure that your use of the Service complies with all local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

4. Subscriptions, Payments, and Cancellation

The Service offers subscription plans ("Pro Monthly," "Pro Yearly") sold via in-app purchase (IAP).

  • Payment Processor: All purchases and associated payment processing are handled by the respective App Store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not store any credit card information.
  • Subscription Validation: As outlined in the Privacy Policy, the Service relies on the transaction receipt/token provided by the App Stores for server-side validation. Premium access is contingent upon successful validation.
  • Billing and Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled by you through the settings of the respective App Store.
  • Refunds: All purchases are **non-refundable**. Refund requests must be directed to and processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their policies.

5. Usage Limits and Restrictions

  • Free Tier: Unsubscribed or unverified users are subject to a limited number of free lookups per day (e.g., 5 lookups), as determined by us.
  • Pro Tier: Pro subscribers receive unlimited lookups. However, this is subject to technical rate limits and a fair use policy designed to protect the integrity and stability of our API service. Mass scraping or high-volume usage designed to destabilize the service is prohibited.
  • Prohibited Uses: You agree not to use the Service for any malicious, illegal, or unethical purposes, including phishing, fraud, or harassment.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service and cancel your subscription through the App Store.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall AfroCadet, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
